Vladimir Putin 's propagandist-in-chief has been seen enjoying cocktails at a five-star resort in Dubai as his calls to sink the UK and Ireland under a nuclear tidal wave continue to outrage the West.
Dmitry Kiselyov, the deputy head of the company behind the state-controlled Rossiya 1 channel, was spotted at the Jumeirah Al Qasr hotel wearing light Fuschia swimming shorts while sipping a drink at the pool bar this week.
He is on holiday with his eighth wife Maria to the UAE - where he is currently not sanctioned - and a popular destination for wealthy Russians.
Kiselyov, 68, has not visited Ukraine unlike other Russian TV personalities such as Vladimir Solovyov, who showed off an anti-tank weapon to his viewers.
The image of Kiselyov was shared on social media with the caption: "Kiselyov is continuing to prepare for a nuclear strike while resting in Dubai.”
“The propaganda chief doesn’t seem to rush to Mariupol to follow Solovyov.”
Before jetting off on his luxury holiday, Kiselyov demanded that the British Isles should be flooded twice with Putin’s most advanced nuclear weapons.
He proposed the use of Russia's new hypersonic big beast Satan-2, officially named Sarmat, which he said would wipe England from the map.
Next, Russia should plunge Britain “into the depths of the sea” with its “underwater robotic drone Poseidon” causing a 1,640ft tsunami.
Kiselyov threatened Britain in revenge for a comment Boris Johnson never made about striking Russia with a nuclear attack.
Downing Street dismissed the claim - widely repeated in Russia’s state media - as “another example of disinformation peddled by the Kremlin”, but it continues to be trumpeted in Moscow.
Kiselyov said: "The island is so small that one Sarmat missile is enough to drown it once and for all.
“Russian missile Sarmat [aka Satan-2], the world's most powerful…is capable of … destroying an area the size of Texas or England.
“A single launch, Boris, and there is no England anymore. Once and for all.”
He went on: “Another option to plunge Britain into the depths of the sea is the Russian underwater robotic drone Poseidon.
“It approaches the target at a one-kilometre depth with the speed of 200 kilometres per hour [125mph].
“There is NO way to stop this underwater drone. It has a warhead with a capacity of up to 100 megatons.
“The explosion of this thermonuclear torpedo close to Britain's shores will raise a giant wave, a tsunami, up to 500 metres [1,640ft] high.
"This tidal wave is also a carrier of extremely high doses of radiation.
“Surging over Britain, it will turn what is probably left of them into a radioactive desert. Permanently unusable for anything.
He triggered outrage in Ireland which would also be hit by such an attack on Britain.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin condemned the 'very sinister' clip from Kiselyov and called on his channel to apologise.
The Fianna Fáil leader said: "I don't think anyone's going to be intimidated by it. I think it reflects a mindset that is worrying and not in touch with reality.
“I think there should be an apology forthcoming in relation to that but the more fundamental point I would think is that Russia should cease hostilities in Ukraine.
"The degree of bombardment and destruction of towns and cities and human carnage that has taken place is absolutely without any justification.
“It's an immoral war that should end and humanitarian corridors should be provided consistently in terms of those trapped in Mariupol and other locations.”
