Virgin Money has opened up spaces in some of its city centre locations, offering the public a place to work.
The bank is welcoming people to 12 of its locations including Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Kensington, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Haymarket (London), Norwich, Nottingham and Cardiff. In addition, Virgin workers can also pre-book hybrid workspaces in its Dewsbury, Wakefield, Bradford and York premises.
For its own workforce, the Newcastle-based bank says the move strengthens its flexible working policy called 'A Life More Virgin' which allows non-location specific staff to work from anywhere in the UK.

The spaces include free Wi-Fi, bookable desks, collaboration areas, private meeting rooms and refreshments. Virgin says each location allows people to meet with colleagues, clients and contacts.
Lyn Rose, head of store network and customer inclusion at Virgin Money, said: “Our flexible working approach, A Life More Virgin, is built on the idea that the old rules around where, when and how we work don’t apply anymore. We’ve extended this approach to our network of stores around the UK and taken a fresh look at how we can offer great spaces which bring people together, unleash creativity and build a sense of community, while showcasing the very best of our brand.”
