Virgin news presenter Zara King has opened up about her new relationship, confirming she is gushing over her new beau.
While the much-loved broadcaster prefers to keep her love life out of the spotlight, she has now revealed that over the last eight months, she has been dating someone.
Although the couple met online in a truly modern dating story, they had mutual friends prior to this.

"He DM'd me. That's how we met," she said.
"We kind of knew a lot of the same people as well. It was a slow start and it's going great."
Previously, Zara was single for almost 10 years and added that it has been difficult to meet someone due to the nature of her job as a news reporter.
"I wasn't really looking, to be honest," she told EVOKE.ie.
"I think when you're not looking, things kind of happen... He's great."
However, the presenter will be keeping her boyfriend's name out of the limelight for now but did praise him for his kindness.
She said: "He's really kind, actually and I think kindness is a quality that was number one for me. If I was ever going to meet someone, I thought kindness would be the number one thing I wanted."
One of the most hardworking journalists in the business, Zara has learned since rising to prominence during the Covid-19 pandemic that it can be very hard to switch off from constant news coverage.
She previously told RSVP Live: “I’m glad to say that I’ve moved past that level of intensity. I love this work, I love this job, but you need to have downtime.
“If I didn’t work in news I would still be consuming it, probably quite a lot. It’s not so much of a chore when you’re doing what you love.
“But I do think switching off is important and for me, that’s about making that bit more time for friends and family and catching up with people.
“I went back to my first yoga class since before Covid recently. Now listen, it wasn’t a big workout, it was very much for beginners, but it was nice to do it.
“I am definitely trying to commit to one thing a week that gives me a bit of headspace. I like yoga because it is one hour where I can’t engage with anything on my phone and that’s nice.
“Everyone needs that every now and again. For me, my plan going forward is to do one thing a week just to make sure I have a bit of me time.”
