Virgin Media respond after customers fume over Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte live stream

Thousands of boxing fans have been left fuming after Virgin Media's live stream has crashed whilst showing Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte. Customers have paid £25 to watch the heavyweight clash, but many have have technical difficulties whilst attempting to watch the event.

Fury and Whyte are set to go head-to-head at Wembley at around 10:10pm, but the action kicked off at 6pm with the first hour available free to BT Sport customers. The encryption kicked in at 7pm and only those who paid for the pay-per-view will be able to watch the rest of the action.

But fans have been complaining that they couldn't see anything with several Virgin Media customers in affected getting the same message.

The message from Virgin Media reads: "OOPS! We are currently experiencing technical difficulties and cannot bring you this channel at the present time."

And fans are not happy after forking out £25 to watch the bout.

Virgin Media have yet to give out an official statement on the issue.
