Hundreds of Virgin Media users have been left concerned after losing access to their emails this morning.
The popular internet service is experiencing serious issues that has left users unable to access their private messages, with issues said to have started to appear last night.
Hours later, the glitch, being caused by a bug, is hindering lots of people across Scotland and the rest of the UK. According to Down Detector UK, a site which monitors outages across the country, there were more than 900 reports making this issues a pretty major glitch. As many are left fighting to regain email access, lots of complaints continue to appear on Twitter, reports the Mirror.
One user called Coluche59 said: "Anyone else having problems with Virgin Media email in the UK? It's been down since just after 23:00 Sunday 18 June, UK time (just over 9 hours) with login failures and failures to find the servers."
With another adding: "@virginmedia. No email service - when will this be fixed please??!!!"
Virgin customer Dave explained he was fuming after failing to get access for over nine hours: "@virginmedia still no email only 9 hours and still no update from you," he tweeted.
It is terrible timing as many users attempt to complete their Monday morning email check in - whether it be a personal or work account.
Virgin Media has replied to customers on Twitter that is "working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible".
In response to one user, it wrote: "We’re aware of an issue that is affecting our Virgin Media email service for customers. Our teams are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused."
