Liverpool talisman Virgil Van Dijk could return to the fold against Newcastle United later this month. The Reds defender has missed their last six games having come off at half-time in their defeat to Brentford last month.
The Dutch defender picked up a hamstring injury against the Bees in their 3-1 defeat to Thomas Frank's men. Boss Jurgen Klopp claimed they'd be without their star man for around a month, despite claiming his withdrawal at half-time was 'not an injury, he just felt the intensity.'
It would be worse thank Klopp originally thought and Liverpool have not won since the defender picked up the injury. The Reds will face Everton in the Merseyside derby on Monday, but that clash is expected to be too early for the defender.

Klopp said he was hopeful of reintroducing Van Dijk into training following Liverpool's 3-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend. Van Dijk was photographed back in training earlier this week and posted an imaged on social media to update fans on his progress.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Klopp said: "Virgil is getting closer, but not ready for the [Wolves] game obviously. Parts of training, I think, next week as well for Virgil."
Newcastle themselves will be without midfield maestro Bruno Guimaraes, who will serve the last match of his three game suspension. Eddie Howe's pre-match press conference against Bournemouth will likely shed a led on any further injury news with Javier Manquillo, Matt Targett and Alexander Isak out with injury.
The Swedish striker was spotted back in full training this week after missing out on the draw with West Ham after picking up concussion in the Carabao Cup semi-final win against Southampton.
