Viral simple hack involving banana peel catches all fruit flies in your house

With recent record temperatures and high humidity, fruit flies are abundant. One tried and tested TikTok hack which involves a banana peel has gone viral.

All you need is a jug or glass, cling film and a banana peel.

Simply place an old banana peel into the jug or glass and cover tightly with cling film.

Once the cling film is secure, pierce the surface once with a fork and place the trap near fruit or wherever you notice the fruit flies.

After 24 hours, the jug should have attracted and trapped most if not all fruit flies in your home.

Then, simply put the jug outside, unwrap the cling film and set them free.
