They say no press is bad press but Supermac's could probably have done without last month's scathing review from a popular UK social media account.
The Food Review Club travels all over the world delivering honest on-camera reviews of all kinds of food businesses and the team who runs the channel were left bitterly disappointed with their first experience in Supermac's, which was recommended by a follower, during a trip to Dublin earlier this year.
The review, like so many from The Food Review Club, quickly went viral but Supermac's fans were determined to stand up for the Irish staple and encouraged the reviewers to give it a second go.

Last week, when The Food Review Club returned to Ireland to celebrate St Patrick's Day, they made sure to give Supermac's another chance and it's safe to say the results couldn't have been more different.
Matt, who usually fronts reviews for FRC, braved a different Supermac's location in a review posted to TikTok and Instagram over the weekend and was blown away by the difference. While the page doesn't specify which Supermac's they visited this time around, a number of the account's followers suggested that it is the Carrickmacross outlet.
Firstly, the welcome the whole team received was incredibly warm as the owner offered the reviewers a free meal.
Owner Des also took the time to chat to the viral customers, who ordered a couple of bacon double cheeseburgers, chicken strips, curry chips and diet coke.
"I'm glad I've seen the light today," Matt said as he reflected on his second trip to Supermac's. "That was a wonderful experience. He was awesome, the food was much better. Did it make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up? No. But if I was hungry for a nice burger and portion of chips, would that have scratched the itch? Absolutely!
"The chicken was good, the burger was on point, the chips were tasty. Big flavour, smiling team, it's what you want, isn't it?"
After giving a score of 1.2 on the first visit, Food Review Club went for a much more positive verdict of 7.3 in a redemptive trip to Supermac's.
