Chargers superfan Merrianne Do went viral during Monday Night Football after her passionate reactions were caught on the game’s broadcast.
After her emotional roller coaster was shared across social media during Los Angeles’s loss in Week 6, Do was invited to appear as a guest on the Pat McAfee Show.
During her interview, Do explained the moment she discovered she’d gone viral, explaining that her smart watch was “buzzing and buzzing,” though she was too locked in on the game to check her notifications.
“I had no idea until at the end, and them I’m like, ‘Okay, why do I have these text messages?’ So, I get home and my kids are like ‘Mommy, you were on TV!’” said Do.

Do said that she and her husband attend plenty of Chargers games and she’s frequently put on the Jumbotron at SoFi Stadium, though she said it was her first time being shown during the game on TV.
“They always get me on the Jumbotron because I am freakin’ nuts, right?” said Do. “I’ve never been on TV, I never expect to be on TV.”
She went viral during the fourth quarter of Monday night’s loss against the Cowboys. The broadcast displayed a wide range of emotions from Do, who could be seen animatedly celebrating a late touchdown, and later on appeared devastated after Dallas grabbed a late lead.
