A violent thug attacked his ex the day he was released from prison, a court heard.
Wayne Baines, 39, left HMP Lancaster Farms in Lancaster on December 20, 2022, but within hours was on the doorstep of his former partner, who he was banned from contacting.
The woman was inside the house with a man she had met earlier that day, and the pair had been drinking when Baines barged in and kissed the woman before 'dancing with her aggressively', prosecutor Lisa Worsley told a court.

Inside the house, Baines made racist comments to the man and asked if he wanted a threesome. He then punched his ex in the face, Preston Crown Court heard.
As the man tried to pull Baines off, Baines rained blows onto her face and head 'as if she was a punchbag'. He also bit the man on his arm as he tried to the woman, LancsLive reports.
The man left the room to call the police, who arrived a short time later.
Ms Worsley said officers were concerned by how worried the man was when they arrived, as they knew him and it was not his usual demeanour. Inside the house they found Baines and the woman lying on a bed together with their arms around each other, and blood all over the bed.
The woman had a swollen black eye which she could not open it, and a cut to her head. Baines refused to co-operate with the police, and officers used distraction techniques and then PAVA spray to arrest him.
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment but declined to make a victim impact statement. Ms Worsley said Baines was under a restraining order to prevent him from seeing the woman due to previous violence in their relationship.
However they had been in touch on previous occasions, the court heard.
Baines' defence clarified the woman had previously applied to the court to have the order removed, but the application had been declined. His lawyer said: "Mr Baines recognises this is not a healthy relationship and it is not one he wishes to continue with, because he knows it will lead him straight back to prison."
Baines, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH), racially aggravated common assault and breach of a restraining order.
Recorder Matthew Boyle, sentencing, said: "You were just out of prison on December 20 when you took it upon yourself to breach the restraining order and go round to your ex's property, and within a short period of time blows were raining down on her head and face, with you treating her like a punchbag."
He imposed a 20 month prison sentence with an 18 month extended licence period after finding Baines to be a dangerous offender. The judge said: "You do present such a risk, and in particular you present a danger to those in intimate relationships and the most recent past."
