Celtic are not prepared to sit idle and wait for Vinicius Souza to pick them as his new club, according to fresh reports.
The midfielder has been embroiled in plenty of early summer transfer window speculation and Celtic are amongst those most strongly linked to the Lommel defensive midfielder. He spent last season out on loan at fellow Belgian club KV Mechelen but is now back with the City Group-owned side. His future isn't likely to be there though, with Real Betis, Galatasaray and Schalke just some of those interested.
That list of clubs will soon read like an essay as according to Sky Sports, around a staggering 20 clubs have registered their interest in Souza. Celtic have already made five permanent signings this summer in Benjamin Siegrist, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Daizen Maeda, Alexandro Bernabei and Jota, with patience to capture a sixth not going to be afforded to the enforcer.
