Vinicius Junior's perfect response to Reece James message after Chelsea lose to Real Madrid

Reece James has made a promise to Chelsea supporters following his side's Champions League elimination at the hands of Real Madrid. The Blues lost their quarter-final clash 4-0 on aggregate, losing by a two-goal deficit in both legs and James has now taken to social media to share his thoughts on the game in a post that has garnered replies from Madrid stars Vinicius Jr and Antonio Rudiger.

After being two goals up from the first meeting, a second half brace from Rodrygo put the tie to bed at Stamford Bridge with N'Golo Kante and Marc Cucurella both guilty of missing chances for the hosts.

Following their European elimination, which now likely means Chelsea have nothing to compete for this season, James posted his thoughts on the game to Instagram with a promise to supporters.

With a picture of himself in action, the caption read: "Last night was tough to take, but we need to be better and we will be. The Bridge was rocking… thank you. I see you and appreciate you all *blue heart emoji*

In the comments, both Vinicius and Rudiger were quick to reply with their support. The silky Brazilian had been engrossed in a 180-minute battle with James and the duo have previously sent glowing endorsements to one-another.

The latest message has seen Vinicius reply to James' post with a handshake emoji followed by a shooting star emoji. The wing-back's former team-mate Rudiger labelled James a 'beast' which came before a flame and clapping hands emoji. In a story posted of the pair, James also described the German international as being 'strong like iron.'
