“I’m definitely happy that I was able to spend the time in there and kind of feel myself in the octagon and breathe through the octagon. I’m happy that this time around, I was able to fight standup (because) this time around, I wasn’t actually able to wrestle.”

“Last night, before the fight, I was hysterical. I (felt like I) couldn’t just continue going forward with all this. I know what it’s like to fight through pain. I’m used to fighting through pain, but when it comes to your mental state, there’s nothing you can do about it. It’s just been so tiresome having to survive through all of this for the entire month. I didn’t know if I was going to be able to do it, but finally I did.”

Dudakova on what she wants next

“To be honest, I don’t foresee myself fighting (again) this year at all because I really need to recover, both physically and I need to really work on my mental state from this whole torture that I had to go through (this camp). But hopefully I will use this break to also learn some more English and next year possibly I’ll be giving my interviews in English. I think this time will be spent well and next year I think I’ll be ready to fight.”
