The Minnesota Vikings take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday morning at 8:30 am central time. The game is a neutral site game but the Saints are the de facto home team, meaning the Vikings only have seven true road games.
The game itself presents a lot of fun matchups and storylines. Us at Vikings Wire along with our friends at Saints Wire predicted the game.

Record: 2-1
The Vikings have a chance to go 3-1 and can do so against a Saints team that is beat up. Wide receiver Michael Thomas is already out and starting quarterback Jameis Winston is considered doubtful. The Vikings don’t have a great track record recently in playing backup quarterbacks with Cooper Rush having beaten the Vikings on Sunday Night Football last season. The Vikings also have a chance to be the first team to go 3-0 in London games. Justin Jefferson will likely be followed by Marshon Lattimore and Adam Thielen and K.J. Osborn will be the ones to take over the game. The Vikings should win but it will be close.
Prediction: Vikings 28, Saints 20
Judd Zulgad-Vikings Wire Columnist
Record: 1-0
The Vikings need to get more pressure on the quarterback — Andy Dalton, most likely in this case — and Justin Jefferson more involved in the offense. The former should be very possible, while the latter will be a challenge. Either way, the Vikings should come away with a victory.
Prediction: Vikings 24, Saints 17
