The Minnesota Vikings were looking pretty good on the injury front on Tuesday, but that all changed just 24 hours later.
The small shred of good news is that the illness that Patrick Jones II had seems to have passed, as he was removed from the injury report. Brian Asamoah also improved, going from limited to full participation with his ankle injury.
The bad news is what I mentioned yesterday. Cameron Dantzler is back on the injury report with his ankle injury. He dressed on Saturday but didn’t play a single snap. It is something that needs to be taken seriously as we move forward.
The Vikings are starting to worry about load management more, as this is the second time that Thielen has had a rest day during the week.
Thursday’s injury report will tell us all that we need to know going into Saturday’s game.
