The Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams are scheduled to play Monday’s Wild Card game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. However, wildfires have devastated the Los Angeles area, with many people losing their houses in the flames. Additionally, the air quality is poor, and thousands have evacuated the area. Will the NFL move Monday’s game?

If the game cannot be played in Inglewood, the NFL will move the game to State Farm Stadium, in Glendale, Arizona. State Farm Stadium is where the Arizona Cardinals play home games. The game will still be played on Monday night.
“The NFL’s priority is the safety of the Los Angeles community,” the NFL said in a statement. “We are grateful for the tireless efforts of the first responders. Our hearts are with Los Angeles and everyone affected by the fires.
“We continue to prepare to play the Vikings-Rams game as scheduled Monday night at SoFi Stadium. As with all games, there are contingency plans in the event a change in location is needed. In this instance, the game would be played on Monday night at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ, if necessary.
“We will continue to closely monitor developments in the area and will remain in contact with public officials, both clubs and the NFLPA.”
The Rams said no players or staff members have been affected by the fires. The Rams’ facility is located in Woodland Hills, a town 13 miles north of Pacific Palisades, the area hit hard by the fire.
Our hearts are with those affected by the Palisades wildfires and the first responders protecting our community. Be safe. 💙💛

This season, the Vikings and Rams squared off in Week 8. In that game, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was sensational, throwing for four touchdown passes in a 30-20 win on Thursday Night Football.
At the time, it was the Vikings’ second loss of the season. Minnesota rattled off nine straight wins before losing in the season finale to the Detroit Lions.
Under Sean McVay, the Rams are 3-1 against the Vikings, with three consecutive wins.
