Vikings unveil field patch to honor Khyree Jackson during training camp

The entire Vikings organization has made it clear how much Khyree Jackson mattered to everyone within the building and around the team. On Wednesday as training camp started, they unveiled a field patch that will be present throughout camp to honor him.

The team announced that they would be wearing a sticker on their helmets during the season. They also went as far as to confirm they will not be using his locker during the season with fellow rookie Dallas Turner taking his name plate from his locker and hanging it above his own.

General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah told the media at a press conference that Jackson will have a lasting impact on this team. He talked about on the field or off, they are changing how they interact and support each other.

A preliminary report from the Maryland State Police stated that Jackson and two other occupants of the vehicle, Isaiah Hazel and Anthony Lytton Jr., were all lost in a crash that involved two other vehicles.
