The Minnesota Vikings traded down from No. 119 to No. 134 and got a 2024 fifth round pick. In doing so, the Vikings selected LSU safety Jay Ward.
Jay Ward is a FS prospect in the 2023 draft class. He scored a 6.70 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 321 out of 970 FS from 1987 to 2023. https://t.co/9DiUk9GHc7 #RAS pic.twitter.com/UV3ei0vlqB

As you can tell by his athletic profile, Ward has an elite 10-yard split, something the Vikings have prioritized with their draft picks, especially in the secondary, under general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah.
