Within an hour of the news that the Minnesota Vikings were restructuring the contract of quarterback Kirk Cousins, they made a move to bolster the offensive line.
According to NFL Netowork’s Mike Garofolo, the Vikings have reached an agreement with center Garrett Bradbury to return to the team in 2023. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the contract is for three years and $15.75 million.
After seeing Bradley Bozeman sign for $6 million, Bradbury coming in at $5.25 million is both a good price for the Vikings and also not exceeding market value.
Bradbury played his best season as a pro last year and finished as PF’s 10th-ranked center. The Vikings declined his fifth-year option which would have been worth upwards of $10 million.
This is a great value deal for the Vikings, especially considering the structure of it will be team friendly.
