The Vikings signed Bullard right before training camp last year to help fortify the defensive line and he was a great asset in helping install the Vic Fangio-style defense that Ed Donatell was planning to run.
Entering his eighth seasond out of Florida, Bullard has been a solid player during his career. Last season, he played in 12 games with seven starts and accumulated 23 tackles and five tackles for loss.
With the move, the Vikings have enough quality defensive lineman to enter the season with. The one downside is that they could use a lot more talent on the roster at that position.
