Vikings outlast Bills in overtime in Game of the Year

The Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills played the game of the year Sunday in Western New York.

Each team appeared to have the game won and lost in the final minutes of regulation.

Then, in the extra session, Kirk Cousins had the Vikings at the Buffalo 2, continuing to find Justin Jefferson no matter how the Bills tried to cover the wideout.

The Bills were able to sack Cousins and force a 33-yard field goal with 3:42 left that gave Minnesota a 33-30 lead.

Buffalo had one last chance and took the ball from its 28 to Minnesota territory, mostly because Josh Allen scrambled for a total of 38 yards on back-to-back plays.

However, Patrick Peterson eventually made his second pick of the game — both coming in the end zone — and Minnesota had a 33-30 victory and a seven-game winning streak.
