The Minnesota Vikings will welcome two familiar foes during the 2023 regular season.
During the 2023 season, the Vikings will match up against the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders, marking two former Super Bowl rematches.
The Vikings’ matchup against the Chiefs and Raiders are just two of the 26 former Super Bowl matchups during the season.
In week five, the Vikings will welcome the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs and Vikings played each other in Super Bowl IV, which was the final Super Bowl before the NFL-AFL merger. The Chiefs defeated the Vikings 23-7 that season.
Then, in week 14, the Vikings will travel to Las Vegas to play the Raiders. The Raiders and Vikings met in Super Bowl XI, which the Raiders won for their first Super Bowl.
Super Bowl XI was also the Vikings’ last Super Bowl appearance to date.
The Vikings are 11-18 in games against the Chiefs or Raiders.
