While the Pro Bowl games have seemingly lost their meaning to players and fans, they are still a benchmark for the NFL calendar. They do bring players together, attract younger fans to watch, and allow them to see more plays by their favorite players.
When it comes to the Vikings, one of their looming free agents made the Pro Bowl and earned an award in the process.
Byron Murphy Jr., who will be a free agent when the new league year starts, made enough plays to earn the Defensive MVP Award at Sunday’s flag football game. Murphy Jr. capped off the NFC’s dominant win with a pick-six, which can be seen below.

The Vikings will hopefully be able to bring back Byron Murphy Jr. as he was a major part in helping the team’s defense take the next step they did in 2024.
