Vikings fans spent this Super Bowl as they have spent each one for the last 45 years: wishing they were in the game themselves. This year, however, brought a different kind of feeling.
Soon-to-be Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell came out of this game as the winning offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams. His offensive game plan was tremendous, allowing Matthew Stafford to take advantage of opportunities provided by the Cincinnati Bengals defense and creatively designing plays from the same formations to keep them guessing.
After the Rams win, it was evident that Vikings fans were ecstatic about it enough to go to Twitter with their excitement.

The Rams offense is what the Vikings offense aspired to be. Lots of similarities in terms of player styles, scheme and strategy. But obviously, the Vikings failed miserably mostly due to poor coaching and playcalling. Bring on Kevin O'Connell. #skol
