When NFL players are interviewed after games, they often stick to speaking about what happened on the field.
Vikings defensive back Camryn Bynum, who sealed the team’s 22–17 win over the 49ers on Monday night with an interception, took his camera time on NFL Network to speak about matters off the field that mean a lot to him.
Bynum started by expressing his gratitude for being able to represent his mother's home country of the Philippines, then he went into detail about his foundation—the Bynum Faith Foundation—which works to "provide aid and holistic relief to underprivileged communities across the U.S. and the Philippines," according to its site.
Bynum ended his interview by asking for help to get his wife to the United States as she’s been dealing with visa issues.
“My wife, she’s in the Philippines working on her visa, it’s been getting denied so if anybody out there can help with the visa process, I’d greatly appreciate it,” Bynum said while looking at the camera.
Camryn Bynum always plays for his family’s country, the Philippines. His wife is currently stuck there because of visa issues.

Bynum just saved a huge #Vikings win over the #49ers — and asked in our unique @nflnetwork postgame interview for any help to get her to the U.S. pic.twitter.com/iiYBBHhfoT
Talk about a beneficial way to use your screen time.
After the video of his interview was posted on social media, Bynum shared it again with another request for help.
Anyone have connections the US immigration office for my wife? She’s in the Philippines and not able to come to the US until her I-130 spousal visa is granted. We’re going on 2 football season of no games for her. We’ve been denied a tourist visa twice so far
