The Minnesota Vikings could look considerably different on Saturday afternoon than we initially thought.
The first injury report had numerous starters either limited or not practicing and while some of it improved throughout the week, the inclusion of outside linebacker Danielle Hunter with a neck injury complicated things.
Hunter, along with nose tackle Harrison Phillips (back), cornerback Cameron Dantzler (illness) and center Garrett Bradbury (back) will all be listed as questionable with a “good chance” of playing on Saturday. Head coach Kevin O’Connell said they would continue to be evaluated before making a final decision.
Both inside linebacker Jordan Hicks and safety Harrison Smith no longer have designations and will play on Saturday afternoon.
If the Vikings have all four questionable players in the lineup against the Colts, they will be as close to fully healthy as possible.
4 Vikings starters are questionable for Sunday: C Garrett Bradbury (back), CB Cam Dantzler (illness), DL Harrison Phillips (back) and LB Danielle Hunter (neck). Coach Kevin O'Connell said all 4 have a "good chance" of playing but will continue to be evaluated.
