The Minnesota Vikings fumbled the ball away to the Philadelphia Eagles four times in the first 33 minutes of the game in a 34-28 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The game was crazy at first. Both teams traded turnovers with the Vikings intercepting Jalen Hurts on a dig route and Alexander Mattison immediately fumbled the ball on the ensuing play.

Brandon Powell fumbled an impressive punt return, Kirk Cousins was strip-sacked to start the second half but the worst of the mall was Justin Jefferson fumbling the ball through the end zone. Turning it over via the worst rule in football is incredibly disappointing.
Early on, the Vikings had the Eagles RPO attack figured out and the Eagles couldn’t do much on offense. Then, they changed their attack and just started running the ball right at the Vikings. It worked and they racked up 430 total yards with 259 on the ground.
Jefferson once again was the star of the show. He didn’t let his performance last season against Darius Slay deter his confidence as he became the fastest wide receiver ever to reach 5,000 yards. He finished the game with 11 catches for 159 yards.
Cousins had a mostly good game, but his slow internal clock cost him a strip sack by Josh Sweat at the beginning of the second half, but made some impressive throws, including a 62-yard post route to Jordan Addison. He finished 31-44 for 364 yards and four touchdowns.
The star for the Eagles was D’Andre Swift. They kept giving him the football and just rammed it down the Vikings’ throats. Swift had 175 yards on 28 carries himself.
The Vikings didn’t give up though, as they scored a touchdown at the end of the game to get within one score, as T.J. Hockenson caught two of Cousins’ four touchdown passes to pair with his seven catches for 66 yards.
