Love Island fans have been left flabbergasted as Molly Marsh was dumped from the villa on Friday night after Kady McDermott not only made her bombshell arrival onto the ITV2 show, seven years after first appearing in the series in 2016 for season 2, but was tasked with a challenge that would make Love Island history.
After making her entrance as the girls in the villa - Ella Thomas, Catherine Agbaje, Whitney Adebayo, Jess Harding, Leah Taylor, Molly Marsh and newcomer Mal Nicol - were out enjoying a spa day, the boys couldn't believe their eyes when Kady introduced herself as a "pocket rocket", with Scott van der Sluis gobsmacked, recognising the bombshell.
Explaining how she came back in for "round two" looking for "love", 27-year-old Kady - who said she was unafraid to "step on toes" - didn't leave it too long before asking the key question: who was closed off? While Tyrique Hyde said he was happy in his couple, he said the door was slightly open - a comment which later in the show saw him and Ella having a rather heated discussion.

After receiving a selfie from Tyrique that showed Kady in the villa with all the boys, Ella and the rest of the girls in the villa were taken aback and couldn't get back to the villa quick enough - however that wasn't the last shock they'd get this evening. At the end of the episode, Jess received a text asking all Islanders to gather around the firepit immediately. As they sat themselves down, it was Kady - whose entrance had a big effect on a number of the boys include Mitchel, Zach, Tyrique and Scott - who next received a text that stunned the Islanders.
The message read: "Kady, it's time for you to make a very big decision. Please stand in front of the firepit. As you are single, you must decide to steal a boy of your choice to couple up with."
After receiving it, Kady addressed the group: "I've not even been here 24 hours, so this is a hard decision. I'm going on the initial attraction and someone I probably want to know more. This particular boy has caught my eye and he is someone that I would be attracted to on the outside world and I'm eager to get to know them more."
She continued: "So the boy I'd like to couple up with is Zachariah."
Following this, all Islanders were gobsmacked - including Molly, who looked to be trying her best to hold her emotions together. But that wasn't the last of it, however. Molly's phone soon sounded and she read aloud the message she'd received.
"Molly, you are now single and therefore have been dumped from the Island. Please pack your bags and say your goodbyes."
After hearing this news, all of the couples were left speechless, with the silence being broken only by gasps and Kady saying: "Oh my god, I'm so sorry."
Leaving it on a cliffhanger, viewers were in a state as they couldn't believe what they had just witnessed and voiced their thoughts on social media. One said: ""These are the type of twist black mirror be banging #LoveIsland".
@StaceTheKing wrote on Twitter: "Nah I’m actually in shock. This season is just a different level #LoveIsland."
A third, @windywords_ added: "The producers are so evil for that.... its been 5 mins and i'm still shook"
"This season is like Game of Thrones anyone can get hit," added another. While @McavoyKaylynn penned: "Nahhh because Love Island producers have outdone themselves this season it's left me flabbergasted.."
While some aren't quite believing Molly will be leaving the Villa quite yet - with some speculating she'll be walking back in as a future bombshell - only time will tell.
