Love Island fans were rooting for show favourite Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu as she took to the ice for a "seriously hot performance" on the Dancing on Ice 2023 launch show. Ekin-Su, 28, and her man Davide Sanclimenti, 27, won hearts this summer as the couple found love with each other in Mallorca.
After a rocky start they managed to get back on track and went on to win the 2022 series of the ITV2 reality dating contest. Now Ekin-Su is among the line-up of stars trying to impress judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo on Dancing On Ice.
Ekin-Su, who has been paired with Brendyn Hatfield on the 15th series of the ITV celeb skating competition, wowed as she performed in a skimpy jewelled leotard to the Britney Spears classic Toxic. During her ice dance she recreated the pulse-racing moment she crawled across the Love Island terrace for kisses with newcomer Jay Younger behind Davide's back early in their relationship.

Afterwards, host Holly Willoughby gasped: "That may have been the sexiest performance we've ever had on Dancing on Ice." And Oti said the performance was "hot, hot, hot from the outfit to the hair to the makeup."

Remarking on her score of 21.5 out of 40 @TheRealDeclanK1 wondered: "Wow that was strong and very sexy Ekin Su because that was a sexy performance they score her down."
@Kaaaaatie_x praised: "Ekin crawling on the ice is nothing short of iconic." And @TVpsychologist said: "Forgotten how fabulous Ekin-Su was - that was a seriously hot performance."
But @TinkyTink asked: "#ekin-su looked amazing but did she actually skate?" and @craggsy82 echoed: "Ekin Su looks sensational. Not much skating lovey...." @KayteeT1 complained: "Would have liked to see more actual skating from Ekin, she was in lift most of the time - 4's from me." And @rogernook wrote: "It's a no from me Ekin Su she seems more interested in the cameras zero skating on her own 2.5 from me."
Others complained about her outfit being a "bit much" including @EnfieldGarry who said: "Not an outfit for a family show, shame you on Ekin Su." @Dia_Monty grumbled: "Oh come on. It's week one. Ekin Sue your not going to get more points for the lack of outfit!"
@suttylass exclaimed: "Ekin hell. Bit much at this time of night." @julianhilaire joked: "I'm calling OFCOM about Ekin Su performance. Not the sexual content but the lack of skating."
And @eds_afterglow laughed: "Ekin Su has people rattled even on dancing on ice." Afterwards, when asked for her advice about taking part in the show she joked to host Phillip Schofield: "Remember to skate."
Davide and Ekin-Su won the eighth series of Love Island, scooping a whopping 63.69 per cent of the public vote. They had a turbulent time early on in the villa when she cheated with Jay.
But they found their way back to each other and after a romantic date in a vineyard they became firm favourites with fans and were affectionately dubbed 'mum and dad' by viewers. Villa chef Davide asked Ekin-Su to go 'exclusive' with him on the show with a homemade tiramisu. Turkish actress Ekin-Su, from London and Italian businessman Davide, from Manchester, have shown that they are still going from strength to strength since leaving the famous TV villa.
