Eddie Alvarez is a free agent after his departure from ONE Championship, leaving his future in question.
Alvarez, the 38-year-old former UFC and Bellator lightweight champion, said last week that he “amicably” parted ways with ONE after making just four appearances in three years. Alvarez touted the fact that he’s already received major interest from promotions, saying “everyone is reaching out” to him. Among those “definitely interested” is Bellator president Scott Coker, but you also have to figure that the PFL and even Bare Knuckle FC wouldn’t mind bringing Alvarez on board, not to mention perhaps the UFC.
