Cruise lines tend to offer their crew special meals in honor of most major holidays.
That makes sense on Christmas or Easter, but it's less logical on the 4th of July or Thanksgiving because very few crew members are American.
It's a little odd to throw a traditional Thanksgiving feast for a large group of people who have never had it before, unless they worked the holiday on a ship in a previous year. Still, crew members always appreciate special meals, and Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) did not disappoint with this year's feast.

Carnival's kitchen crew actually whipped up multiple meals as an addition to the crew buffet, it also served a special Captain's Dinner.
Most crew members eat in a buffet-style restaurant that's sort of like a version of the passenger buffet on the Lido deck. Only entertainers, officers, and select other personnel can eat in passenger areas (although there are sometimes exceptions to that rule, like crew members winning contests.)
Kyndall "Fire" Magyar, who just rejoined Carnival Jubilee as Cruise Director, used her popular Instagram channel to offer a look at both the crew Thanksgiving Buffet and what a select few got to eat at the Captain's Table.

Carnival serves up crew Thanksgiving feast
Transcript:
All right, y'all, join me for Thanksgiving dinner as a crew member on a cruise ship.
So, posted outside the crew mess is gonna be the actual menu of what's being served tonight. Every time we have a special event, they also do these incredible carvings and watermelons, and being that Thanksgiving, we had the turkey, the cranberry sauce, the gravy, the stuffing, and, of course, sweet potatoes.

On the regular line, we also had other different areas of foods and different cultures.
Then you come over to the dessert section which was also amazing.
I had dinner in the Captain's Mess tonight where they had a special menu for us as well, which was incredible.
I went with a chicken dish cuz I'm not a turkey girly, and I also got a lemon cheesecake, which absolutely blew my mind, and it was a great dinner.
