Going back to one’s alma mater is a nostalgic moment for most of us. This was no different for Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, who recently live streamed a visit to his Harvard dorm room, where he famously created Facebook.
In the video, which has gone viral on social media, he shares interesting snippets of his student life and how he came up with the idea of a social networking website, while giving viewers a virtual tour of his cosy dorm room. Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan were touring the Kirkland House, Cambridge, ahead of his scheduled commencement address at Harvard on Thursday.
“This was a place where many special things happened in my life,” he says in the video. “I’m really thankful.”
This comes just a few days after he posted a video filmed by his dad that captures his reaction to the Harvard acceptance letter. He launched Facebook while studying at Harvard, but later dropped out from the University to focus on developing this project.
