Video shows Bristol rider crash into delivery cyclist moments after stunt

A video of a man crashing into a fellow cyclist after performing a stunt has been doing the rounds on social media. The short clip shows a man appearing from out of shot, pedalling fast towards a ramp, near the Cenotaph, before landing in a busy road and knocking a delivery driver off their bike.

Footages shows the cyclist was completely knocked off his bike and the contents of his delivery bag was spilled all over Rupert Stret. Not only did the cyclist knock the delivery driver off his bike, he also crashed to the floor in front of a moving car, making the situation even more dangerous.

The video was shared on the Bristol page on Reddit, where it received many comments, many of which were sharing their anger towards the ‘stunt’ man while expressing their commiserations for the delivery driver.

One commenter said: “Delivery guy probably earning less than minimum wage, just lost a delivery, his rating, and work until he can get the bike repaired. Now needs time to recover, and money to pay for repairs and maybe medical expenses… what an absolute s***.”

Another penned: “The bike looks okay, it didn't fall to the right where the shifter is and the wheel doesn't look bent. Everything else is f****, he got injured and will probably get a bad review because of what happened to the food...all because of one dumb f*** jumping right onto a busy road.”

While a third wrote: “The delivery driver is also going to lose out on their wages for the rest of the night, and anything immediately after.”
