One of the more remarkable aspects of Travis Kelce’s surprise on-stage cameo at Sunday’s Eras Tour London Night 3 was how he was able to make it to the stage without raising suspicions.
After all, Kelce — who watched all three of girlfriend Taylor Swift’s London shows from the VIP tent — has had phone cameras focused on him at all times during the concerts. It turned out that Swift’s team got creative with disguising Kelce’s move backstage.
Video from Wembley Stadium showed that Swift’s crew was moving someone underneath a Willow cape as Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department era was underway. That person turned out to be Kelce.

That gave Kelce time to make it backstage and change into costume. He was back in the VIP tent shortly after his cameo.
Gracie Abrams, by comparison, was seen leaving the VIP tent shortly before she joined Swift for a Surprise Song performance of “Us.” So, fans were speculating about the performance before it happened.

That shows that there was plenty of thought that went into surprising the 89,000 fans at Wembley.
Judging from the reaction, I’d say that Swift and Kelce were successful with that.
