Nate Diaz broke out the “Stockton Slap” backstage at the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva boxing event Saturday in Glendale, Ariz.
While full details of the altercation are not yet known, multiple videos show a scuffle between members of Diaz’s crew and individuals sporting Jake Paul walkout gear. One angle shows an angry Diaz swipe at a man with a shaved head and tattoos while arena and promotion staff members intervened.
A second video shows a drink thrown from Diaz’s direction. The flying beverage sparked a lot of shoving and scuffle away from a number of large, suited individuals, who charged toward Diaz and behind a curtain out of the focus of the camera.
Shortly thereafter, Diaz went live on Instagram. He filmed multiple security members, who ordered members of the Diaz team to leave the arena immediately. The video was posted just prior to the start of the main event.

Diaz, 37, was in attendance to support his teammate and friend Chris Avila, who defeated YouTuber Dr. Mike in the opening main card bout. A free agent, some think Diaz could land in Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions as a boxer – an option Diaz previously acknowledged.
