Video: LeBron James working in the gym in preparation of new season

In a matter of weeks this offseason, LeBron James went from hinting he might retire to confirming he will, indeed, be back this fall for his 21st season.

His 20th season was a roller coaster filled with huge scoring games, fatigue, injury, a team reborn, a deep playoff run and his passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the league’s all-time leading scorer.

But now, with a championship-caliber roster, James will likely be able to count on more stability. The Lakers will also have the luxury of keeping his minutes down after he was forced to carry a heavy workload for most of the last two campaigns.

A video of James hard at work in the gym in preparation for the new season surfaced on social media.

Even at age 38, another MVP-caliber season from James likely will not surprise a lot of people, especially given how dedicated he is to taking care of his body.
