The PFL is bringing out the big guns for its return to pay-per-view. On top of a big heavyweight clash between Francis Ngannou and Renan Ferreira, the promotion has booked a women’s featherweight bout pitting MMA legend Cris Cyborg against two-time PFL champion Larissa Pacheco.
The two ladies are scheduled to serve as the co-main event of the pay-per-view card on Oct. 19. Cyborg, who’s won titles in the UFC, Bellator, Strikeforce and Invicta FC, is considered by many to be an all-time great. Meanwhile, Pacheco has cemented herself as a top-tier talent in recent years.
So, is this the best women’s MMA fight that could be made today? Could Cyborg surpass Amanda Nunes in the greatest of all time debate?
MMA Junkie’s Brian “Goze” Garcia, Dan Tom, Farah Hannoun and host Gorgeous “George” Garcia discuss the booking and what it means to women’s MMA.
