Conor McGregor is back.
However, before we see the former two-division UFC champion back in the octagon, he’ll be coaching opposite former title challenger Michael Chandler on the upcoming season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” The two men will meet in the cage at the conclusion of the season, with specifics to come later.
It won’t be the first time McGregor is on “TUF” as a coach, so fans of the show will have some idea of what he brings to the table in that role. Chandler, however, who is a staunch competitor inside the cage, is typically a reserved and respectful individual outside of it. This raises questions about the dynamic that will be created when these two stars are brought into “TUF” to coach their teams to victory.
Will McGregor and Chandler have some heated moments during the season? Will their star power completely overshadow the competitors who are actually trying to win the tournament and the UFC contract? Will McGregor and Chandler bring something special to their teams, or will it be on the other coaches to produce improvements?
This week’s “Spinning Back Clique” panel of Nolan King, Danny Segura, Brian “Goze” Garcia, and host “Gorgeous” George Garcia discuss what this season of “TUF” could bring ahead of their pending matchup inside the cage.
Check out their discussion in the video above, and don’t miss this week’s full episode below.
