Video caught a Falcons fan looking miserable in a sea of Lions fans and it was so relatable

We’ve all been there. We love our team so much that we travel cross country to support them, regardless of the road environment. But when the game actually comes, being stuck amongst the home fans is one of the worst, more alienating feelings imaginable.

Take this Atlanta Falcons fan in attendance for their game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. As the Falcons somewhat sputtered about in a 10-3 affair, the Fox broadcast camera caught him with a towel over his head while a raucous Lions crowd roared on a crucial early third down.

At the very least, at that specific moment, he did not appear to be having a good time. And we totally get it:

Our condolences to this guy, who probably spent a hefty penny even just traveling to Detroit. You’d hope his Falcons could at least play better and give him more joy in a hostile sports environment.

This how was Twitter reacted to this Falcons fan in Detroit
