Fight week festivities have yet to officially start for this weekend’s UFC pay-per-view, but Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo already are sizing each other up.
The bantamweights crossed paths at the host hotel Sunday ahead of their championship bout in the main event of UFC 288. The card takes place Saturday at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN/ESPN+.
The exchange between Sterling (22-3 MMA, 14-3 UFC) and Cejudo (16-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) was respectful and had little in the way of antics or theatrics. The two exchanged a few words before they headed their own ways.
