Victoria Beckham sings with the mic unplugged days after Spice Girls performance

David Beckham treated fans to another musical performance from wife Victoria Beckham on Monday night, but this time with the microphone unplugged!

Fans online were left asking who unplugged the star as she covered a Chaka Khan song barefoot - with some even pleading for her return to her musical roots full-time.

David's video also prompted some to recall Victoria's previous admission that producers often used to turn off her microphone during Spice Girls concerts back in the day.

The retired footballer, 47, delighted fans over the weekend when he shared a video of Posh Spice, 48, belting out a classic Spice Girls song during a karaoke session on holiday.

The mum-of-four was seen putting her everything into the performance, even doing the hand movements to Stop Right Now as she wore a slinky skin tight black dress reminiscent of her style throughout her pop star days.

Proud husband David lovingly referred to her as "the one & only Posh Spice" as he shared a snippet of the fashion icon's rendition of her former band's iconic hit single with his 74.4million Instagram followers.

It seems it's not just her own material that Victoria has been enjoying a singalong to during their family holiday.

Taking to his Instagram account on Sunday night, David shared another video with their fans in which the fashion designer could once again performing for her loved ones barefoot.

Jokingly pointing out Victoria's mic appeared to be unplugged throughout her recital of Ain't Nobody by Chaka Kahn, David captioned the clip: "Posh Spice unplugged [plug emoji] [laughter emoji] last song of the night just for me @victoriabeckham."

"Just for u!!! X," songstress Victoria commented underneath her husband's post as fans went wild for the latest nod to the star's musical roots.

"@davidbeckham Convince her to go back with the @spicegirls," one delighted follower quipped to David, with another adding: "We want Posh! We want posh!"

A third agreed, writing: "I think she’s ready for the stage again."

Victoria's holiday karaoke sessions come amid speculation she's set to reunite with her Spice Girls bandmates once again.

Mel C has even recently admitted she and Mel B are 'manifesting' a full reunion alongside Victoria, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell - following their last tour as a four-piece in 2019 without Posh on stage with them.

Victoria is sometimes reluctant to return to her singing days, having now established herself in the world of fashion, and even previously admitted her microphone was often muted by producers during some performances on stage with the band.

Chatting to Claudia Winkleman at the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition in London in 2016, she said: "They used to turn it off and just let the others sing. I got the last laugh - and now my mic is well and truly on, finally."

Victoria may not have not been the best singer in the group but she was always the best dressed, thanks to taking advantage of the Spice Girls clothing allowance.

"I was always the one that loved fashion and it was quite a result for me because the girls always used to get their clothes for free because they were crap and so there was a lot of budget for me to have my little Gucci dress," She admitted at the same event five years ago.
