Victoria Beckham has shared a sweet new photo of her husband David cuddled up with the latest addition to their famous family, cocker spaniel puppy Fig.
Treating followers to a candid insight into home life on her Instagram Stories, the fashion designer posted the cute snap of the former footballing pro smiling as he snuggled up to their new pet.
She captioned it “Fig loves a cuddle,” adding some animated heart emojis.
The family introduced the black cocker spaniel back in September, when all three Beckham brothers, Brooklyn 19, Romeo, 16, and Cruz, 13, announced Fig’s arrival with a series of Instagram posts asking followers to “welcome” the new pooch “to the family.”
Aspiring photographer Brooklyn appeared to be particularly taken with the adorable pet, describing her as “my new baby.”
The Beckhams’ older cocker spaniel, Olive, is no stranger to the spotlight either.
The chestnut brown dog joined the family back in 2015, and even had her own dedicated Instagram account for a short time, managed by Brooklyn. The page boasts over 69 thousand followers, though it has sadly not been updated since 2016.
The family pet also took a starring role in Victoria’s latest British Vogue shoot, appearing alongside the designer and all three Beckham brothers and sister Harper, seven, on the magazine cover to mark ten years since the launch of her fashion empire.
Olive most recently made the headlines when the former Spice Girl shared a photo of her husband having a nap while snuggled up with the pooch, who was draped in a red dog blanket.
Followers soon pointed out that the seemingly innocuous blanket was in fact a design from Louis Vuitton’s recent collaboration with streetwear label Supreme, and cost around £4,600.
The Beckhams also own bullbogs Coco and Scarlet, as well as a shar-pei named Barnaby.
