Victoria Beckham shares sweet photo of son Romeo cuddling newest member of family

Victoria Beckham shared a cute photo of her son Romeo cuddling the newest member of the family - a dog.

The former Spice Girl posted the sweet snap on her Instagram story on Friday evening with the tiny miniature poodle puppy peering over the 19-year-old's left shoulder.

Romeo, who was wearing two beaded necklaces in the photo, is snuggling the pup whose nose in resting on his neck.

Victoria shared another image of the tan-colour dog as he played with a Louis Vuitton soft ball. The caption read: "He looks cute and has good taste!!!"

Daughter Harper Seven was next to show off the new family member as she laid down with the puppy resting on her. Youngest son Cruz also got in on the action as he posed with the pet.

Romeo - the second eldest child of David and Victoria - reposted the image taken by his fashion designer mother on his Instagram account with the caption: "New member of the family. Meet my new baby".

He took to his Instagram story to reveal the puppy's name, saying: "Simba Beckham" followed by a red love heart.

Romeo got a remarkably similar winged neck tattoo similar to his dad in January as he aims to follow in his footsteps by breaking into Inter Miami's team.

He currently plays for the franchise's reserve team, Inter Miami II, and has featured regularly for the 2022 season in the MSL Next Pro league.

The 19-year-old has played nine times, starting eight matches, and has made five assists in 724 minutes of league action this campaign.

One of Romeo's standout performance this season came during Inter Miami II's 3-3 draw with Philadelphia Union II at the DRV PNK Stadium.

Beckham, who plays in the same right wing role that his father adopted during his illustrious career, helped Miami fight back from two goals down by providing all three goals to earn an unlikely point.

The youngster teed up Benjamin Cremaschi and Shanyder Borgelin to help restore parity and after falling behind again, Beckham whipped in a free-kick that was stabbed home by Borgelin to share the spoils for Inter in the dying moments.

He signed his first senior contract with Fort Lauderdale, who have been renamed as Inter Miami II from this season, in September last year.
