Proud mother of the groom Victoria Beckham wowed at her eldest child Brooklyn's wedding in a sensational silky gown created by her own fashion house. The former Spice Girl turned acclaimed designer and style icon shimmered on the arm of her beaming husband David in a sophisticated slip dress.
The mum-of-four had the exquisite fabric for the gown exclusively made at one of her favourite mills in Italy. And the effect was metallic and liquid-like.
Three types of laces were cut by hand and embroidered onto the dress in a 'labour of love' process meticulously carried out by six of Victoria's London atelier team. Victoria took to Instagram to share a selection of behind-the-scenes photos as she prepared for Brooklyn and his bride Nicola Peltz's special day.

She explained the painstaking effort that had gone into making her head-turning dress. And she shared full-length mirror selfies to showcase the spellbinding look that channelled classic Hollywood glamour while explaining how the dress had made history for her fashion brand.
She wrote: "A special dress for a special day. The first Victoria Beckham couture dress made in our London atelier. The bespoke fabric was developed by one of my favourite mills in Italy. It's like liquid metal and hangs so beautifully.
"The lace is actually three different styles, placed to create a new lace and then hand-embroidered. The dress took five days to create by six of my incredibly talented London atelier team. It's been a labour of love and I'm so grateful to my incredible team for creating something so beautiful for me."
Victoria, who also has sons Romeo, 19 and Cruz, 17, and a daughter Harper, 10, with Manchester United legend David, 46, who she met at Old Trafford back in 1997, shared a photo of herself posing alongside Romeo's model girlfriend Mimi Regan, 18. Mimi wore an aqua blue Victoria Beckham slip dress for the nuptials at the Peltz family estate in Miami on Saturday.
And Victoria, 47, Instagrammed a picture of her parents Anthony and Jackie, with her mum also wearing custom-made VB. She looked chic in a midnight blue trouser ensemble with a cropped jacket.
The beautiful bride wore Valentino haute couture as she married aspiring chef Brooklyn, 23. Her floor-length white gown worn with a flowing veil was the culmination of a year’s conversations with Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli’s team, two trips to the Valentino HQ in Rome and two US fittings. Transformers star Nicola carried a white bouquet for the ceremony at the oceanfront property.
And her bridal hair was inspired by 90s supermodel Claudia Schiffer. Her hairdresser Adir Abergel wrote on his Instagram: "Getting ready part was pure fun. Cutting Claudia Schiffer 90’s bangs moments before the wedding, watching @kateleemakeup do her magic with makeup, standing by Nicola and @lesliefremar as she got her dressed in the most beautiful @maisonvalentino custom gown. And finally, that insanely beautiful custom made veil…. I cried putting that veil in place."
Claudia sent congratulations to the happy couple and said she was honoured to have inspired Nicola's look. "Honoured to have served as inspiration for this truly stunning bride," she wrote.
