Victoria Beckham's 'crying and hug snub show Brooklyn and Nicola feud isn't over yet'

Victoria Beckham broke down in tears at her fashion show in Paris as her family reunited for the first time in months.

Fans were delighted to see the family together at Victoria's first show at Paris Fashion Week after rumours of a feud between the matriarch and her eldest son following his wedding to Nicola Peltz.

Body language expert Judi James has given her verdict on the very public get together and the signs that the family still has some healing to do.

"The fact that Brooklyn and Nicola showed up for Victoria’s show suggested in terms of an ‘intentional gesture’ or non-verbal PR bulletin that it was the clan re-united rather than a family divided," Judi exclusively tells us.

But Judi says that Brooklyn and Nicola's return to the family fold was similar to the frosty reception Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got from the royal family earlier this year.

"There was a slight air of the Harry and Meghan about the way the Brooklyn and wife were already seated when David and his other children swept in like royalty, with David hug-greeting everyone warmly before getting to Nicola and Brooklyn," she tells us.

David's warm embrace of his son shows that the alleged feud hasn't dampened their affection for each other.

"The father/son hug was especially warm, with double-arm embracing that was elongated enough to suggest strong affection," Judi said.

"Romeo’s hug of his brother was much cooler but that’s often just the way with brothers."

Judi also explained that Victoria's show of emotion could have just been in reaction to her work rather than family ties.

"Victoria emerged at the end of her show to do the typical ‘shocked and full of modesty’ displays that designers do," Judi said.

"She did perform a crying ritual, with her hands covering her face at one point but was it at the sight of her entire family sitting in unity or was it just the normal happy tears hush that designers do at these points?

"It looked like the latter and, unusually for her, she skipped the one by one hugging of each member of her family and just honed in on David instead."

Overall, the body language expert is convinced Brooklyn and his new wife still have some work to do.

"So it was a display of unity in terms of presence but so far without all the specific hugs and kisses to show that Brooklyn and wife are completely back in the Beckham bosom," she said.

Clashes between Victoria and Nicola reportedly began over the latter's wedding dress on the build up to her big day.

"I was planning on wearing Victoria's wedding dress and I was truly so excited to be able to wear a design that my future mother-in-law created," Nicola told Grazia USA earlier this year.

"We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn't hear anything. Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn't make it."

The reported falling out is said to have left heartbroken Victoria "distraught and fearful" that she will 'lose' her son and not see her grandchildren.

David Beckham, meanwhile, is said to have confronted Brooklyn over the rumoured feud.

The former England captain 'read the riot act' to his son after a recent interview given by Nicola, telling him: "we are done with the drama", according to insiders.

Sources say David gave aspiring chef Brooklyn a dressing down following Nicola's aforementioned Grazia interview.

One told The Mail : "He had it out with him and told him 'We don’t do this in our family – and you know that we don’t do this in our family.'"

Becks is believed to have told Brooklyn: "What happens next is up to you, but we are done with the drama."

The source went on: "David was really appalled by the Grazia interview because it seemed to be washing the family dirty linen in public and he said that [Brooklyn’s brothers] Romeo and Cruz are also hurt by it."
