Victoria Beckham's close relationship with Romeo's girlfriend after Brooklyn's wife snub

The confetti has barely settled from her eldest son's wedding but it seems Victoria Beckham looks set to get another daughter-in-law very soon.

The former Spice Girl was reported to have found it a "bit difficult" taking a back seat for the betrothal of Brooklyn, 23, to billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz at the beginning of the month.

The lavish £3 million affair was organised by the bride's family and held at their plush $76 million beach house in Florida.

A host of star-studded guests watched the young couple get married at the extravagant ceremony, including Mel B, Mel C, Eva Longoria and Scots chef Gordon Ramsay and his family.

With her background as a successful fashion designer and with her own label, Victoria had been hotly tipped to design Nicola's wedding dress but those plans were soon abandoned.

But that could be a different story when it comes to Romeo's wedding, as he's tipped to get down on one knee for girlfriend, Mia Regan very soon.

Romeo Beckham ready to marry model partner - and the wedding won't be like brother Brooklyn's

Mia, a British model who has been dating the Beckham's second born since 2018, appears to be much closer to Victoria.

The pair were snapped out together for the first time after Victoria's SS20 fashion show in September 2019, but made their relationship public a few months before.

In May 2019, Romeo confirmed they were celebrating their first anniversary as a couple by posting some selfies with the caption: "Happy 1 year mooch love u so much."

'Mooch' is the adorable nickname that the professional footballer has for his girlfriend, while she sweetly likes to call him 'Ro Ro'.

Mia, who comes from the town of Chippenham in Wiltshire near the Cotswolds, left school last year and is now working as a model and influencer.

She was discovered by top modelling agency Storm at the Clothes Show in Birmingham when she was just 12 and is now one of the most influential figures on the scene.

Mia was really catapulted to fame during lockdown when her creative fashion collages got popular and Tatler dubbed her as "The It Girl of Lockdown Three".

Now she travels the world working for upmarket fashion glossies like Vogue and she was given free rein to design a campaign for French luxury fashion house Balmain.

Her dad, Des Regan, is the senior fundraising manager for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, while mum Helen has supported her fashion career.

"It’s so good that reworking and up-cycling has become a trend," the teen once said. "I recently found my mum’s clothes in the loft, and I wear her old Vivienne Westwood shirts to school."

Mia seems to have got the Posh Spice seal of approval as she's modelled for the VVB collection and the pair have even collaborated to promote Victoria's brand on social media.

In February this year, the pair were spotted at London Fashion week on the front row of designer Supriya Lele's AW 2022 show and Victoria has publicised Mia's artwork.

Mia is so close to Posh Spice that she isn't afraid to wind her up and has been attempting to recreate Victoria's signature model pose with her leg up.

Victoria shared the hilarious snap of her son Romeo's girlfriend trying to copy her move while wearing a sports bra and leggings from her Reebok fitness range.

But Posh thinks she needs more practise, as the snap came with the caption: "Work in progress #VBpose"

On Valentine's Day, Romeo shared a sweet snap of the pair on holiday together with the words: "Happy Valentine's Day mooch. Love you so much @minimoocher."

When they celebrated their anniversary earlier this year, the couple both shared a series of loved-up snaps, including one where Mia attempts to take a bit out of Romeo's face.

"2 years of NUFIN BUT LOVEEEE! Grate for u stink," wrote the model.

Romeo seems set to follow in his brother's footsteps and get married very soon.

The Mirror reported yesterday that a source said they are "devoted to each other" and wedding bells could be on the cards.

A source claims the couple discussed marriage while on a family holiday, saying: “Mia is close to Romeo’s mum Victoria. It was clear the couple want a long-term future together and have already spoken about being soulmates.

“Marrying quickly and young seems to be in the Beckham tradition.

“They are besotted with each other and are definitely in it for life. They also talked about how much they want a big family and can’t wait to get started.”

Mia and Romeo are said to be "devoted" to each other and have started talking about their long-term future together.

While there may be wedding bells on the horizon, it is thought that their wedding will be just a tad more low-key than Brooklyn's £3million bash.

A source told The Mirror the couple discussed marriage while on a family holiday, explaining: "Mia is close to Romeo’s mum Victoria. It was clear the couple want a long-term future together and have already spoken about being soulmates.

"Marrying quickly and young seems to be in the Beckham tradition.

"They are besotted with each other and are definitely in it for life. They also talked about how much they want a big family and can’t wait to get started."

Romeo didn't want to step on Brooklyn's toes and is rumoured to have put off getting engaged until after his big brother tied the knot with Nicola.

It’s obvious from the pair’s social media that Romeo and Mia are very happy together.

This week, the pair were snapped spending time with the Beckham family on their luxury yacht in Miami.
