Victoria Beckham names favourite karaoke song and it's a Spice Girls classic after dashing reunion hopes

Victoria Beckham stunned fans in her first appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen alongside Hollywood star Anne Hathaway.

The popstar turned fashion designer fielded questions from all angles about her return to future Spice Girls reunions, but also revealed her go-to karaoke song is a classic from her band days. During the interview, Andy, 54, asked Victoria, 48, what her go-to karaoke song is and she responded with a fan-favourite anthem.

She said: "Spice Up Your Life, oh no actually it's Stop because it's got a really great little dance routine that goes down a storm when doing karaoke."

This comes after Posh revealed she couldn't commit to a Spice Girls reunion. Victoria took part in the band's 2007-2008 reunion tour, but was noticeably absent during their 2019 Spice World run, explaining at the time that she would rather focus on her family.

Earlier this month Melanie Chisholm, or better known as Mel C, added that she was pushing for the group to reform once again - including Posh. Emma Bunton also added that she believed Victoria would be up for joining the group at Glastonbury, if the group were asked to perform.

“I had so much fun being in the Spice Girls. But I think that now, with everything else that I’ve got going on with my fashion, and my beauty line, four children, I couldn’t commit to that,” but Cohen had the suggestion she could take inspiration from the new ABBA Voyage hologram concert in London.

"That’s a great idea,” she quipped. “That is a good idea.”

Last month, Mel C updated fans about a potential 25th anniversary tour, after reports about a live comeback in 2023 emerged late last year. Speaking to BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball, Sporty Spice said the group “want to do shows” but “they’re just not arranged yet”.

In November, Spice Girls will release a 25th anniversary edition of their 1997 album ‘Spiceworld’, featuring bonus tracks and B-sides curated by the group themselves, as well as previously unreleased live recordings from the Virgin Records archive.
