Victoria Beckham made £2m from Spice Girls reunion tour without singing

Victoria Beckham's company made a staggering £2million from the Spice Girls reunion tour despite Posh not performing.

The popstar turned fashion designer raked in the money over a period of three years following the reunion tour, which celebrated the band's 25th anniversary. Her firm Moody Productions earned £703,000 in 2021 and £403,000 in 2020.

While Victoria, 48, didn't join her bandmates Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner on the tour she still made £1million from the endeavour, reports the Mirror.

Posh still stands as a member of the band, but doesn't need to sing alongside her bandmates in a business savvy as her company Moody Productions is entitled to a cut of the takings for endorsements, licensing deals and merchandising generated by gigs.

Accounts filed for her corporation last week show it paid £140,637 in Corporation Tax for 2021 from income, meaning the firm earned £703,000 from the Spice Girls back catalogue. The girl group have achieved nine UK No1s and sold over 100 million records since 1994 making them the best-selling girl group of all time.

The group kicked off their Spice World Tour in 2019, and Victoria was a no show due to her commitments to her fashion brand but has unfortunately posted annual losses of £6.3million. The Moody Productions accounts show Posh has had more than £5million of loans from it over the years.

Meanwhile, husband David Beckham firm banked a staggering £657,322 a week in 2021. The accounts for Beckham Brand Holdings Ltd, also filed last week, show a £19.1million profit, up from £11.6million.

They also reveal David has signed deals with “Electronic Arts, Adidas, Tudor, Diageo’s Haig Club and Maserati.”
