Victoria Beckham has come under fire over daughter Harper's outfit which Instagram followers have called 'inappropriate' - but she's ignored the outrage.
The former Spice Girl basked in her family's support following her Paris Fashion Week show debut, where she turned internationally renowned fashion designer and showcased her spring/summer 2023 collection at the annual fashion event.
She broke down in tears as she took to the runway for rapturous applause in front of her husband David and their four children after watching the likes of supermodel sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid walk in her first Paris runway show, writes Manchester Evening News.
As well as Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and Edward Enninful, Victoria was cheered on by her former Manchester United footballer husband David, 47, their three sons Brooklyn, 23, Romeo, 20, Cruz, 17, and daughter Harper Seven, 11.
But as Victoria proudly shared photos and videos from the special occasion, the 48 year old came under fire. The former singer faced backlash over her daughter's outfit which was deemed 'inappropriate' for her age by some. Harper arrived at the event alongside her dad and brothers Romeo and Cruz as well as Cruz’s girlfriend Tanya Holding.
David and Victoria's eldest son Brooklyn was also in attendance in his first big family appearance for months alongside his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham. Following the show, Victoria shared a sweet clip of Harper on her Instagram story, in which she stood next to Romeo and Cruz and gave a sweet message to her mum.
She was heard saying: "Hi mummy, congratulations, I hope you have the best day," before blowing a kiss to the camera as her older brothers stood around in support. Victoria added alongside the clip: "Good luck kisses from #HarperSeven before the show [pink heart emoji] xx VB."
The former popstar shared a snap of her daughter alongside supermodels Bella and Gigi in her custom VB design. She captioned the snap: "#HarperSeven loving her time backstage with @GigiHadid and @BellaHadid #VBSS23 " But not all fans thought the outfit was appropriate.
@benvenutom commented: "I love your design so much , but Harper in that dress is so inappropriate . Let her be a girl of her age and in power her." @lynnie_pooz wrote: "That girl is 11 and in that dress. She is so adorable. But that is not age appropriate." @olancho2005 added: "I'm really surprised that at this girl's age they are already dressing her that way, but anyway it's just my personal opinion."
But Victoria appeared too busy to care too much about what others thought as she continued her social media spree by posting various shots from the runway show as well as ones of her family who flew out to the French capital in force to show their support. " I love you all so much," she typed alongside a series of images, starting with one of her snuggled in between her hubby and their brood.
Another showed her proud parents Jackie and Anthony Adams, who celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary over the summer, as well as her sister Louise Adams who posed alongside her daughters, Victoria's nieces, Liberty and Tallulah Flood.
And Victoria also appears to have put aside a reported feud between herself and daughter-in-law Nicola. She took to her Instagram Story to share a photo of Brooklyn and his wife, who wed in Florida in April, alongside her parents. "Nana and Papa with Brooklyn and Nicole," adding moving hearts to the post.
