Victoria Beckham has delighted fans as she shared an adorable throwback picture as she celebrated her 48th birthday.

The pop star received a flood of well-wishes after taking to Instagram to post a cute snap from her ninth birthday.

Thanking her mother Jackie, Beckham wrote: “Feels like yesterday! My 9th birthday party. Happy Birthday to me love you @jackie.adams.”

Fellow Spice Girl bandmate Emma Bunton posted pictures of the pair together as she paid tribute to the star on social media.

She uploaded an old black-and-white shot of Victoria giving her a piggyback. Another photo showed the duo smiling at the camera with their partners.

Promising that they would meet up for drinks soon, Bunton captioned the snaps: “Sending love to my gorgeous girl @victoriabeckham love you to bits! #celebratesoon #Tequilanights.”

Geri Horner - Ginger Spice - also took to the social media site to post cute snaps from their time in the band.

She wrote: “Happy birthday ! @victoriabeckham - what a woman! Wishing you the best year ahead. Xxx.”

It comes after Beckham celebrated the wedding of her eldest son Brooklyn and billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz last week.

The groom, 23, wed actress Peltz, 27, at her parents’ £76 million ocean-front estate in a $3million ceremony in Palm Beach on Saturday.

Beckham kids Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 17, were groomsmen while 10-year-old Harper was a bridesmaid.

Fashion designer Ms Beckham looked elegant in a silver satin gown as she attended the ceremony with her proud husband David.
